Access to dental care is something many of us may take for granted. Yet across the UK and beyond, thousands of people face daily pain and discomfort simply because they cannot access even basic dental treatment.
Dentaid works tirelessly to change that.
Through mobile clinics, outreach programmes, and volunteer-led initiatives, the charity provides essential dental care and oral health advice to people experiencing homelessness, poverty, abuse, and other forms of vulnerability.
Their impact is profound — not just relieving pain, but restoring confidence, dignity, and quality of life.
Miles for Smiles is more than just a walk — it’s a powerful demonstration of what the dental community can achieve together.
Each year, dental professionals, teams, and supporters come together to take on a walking challenge, raising vital funds and awareness. The initiative has already raised tens of thousands of pounds, helping Dentaid reach more people in need.
